EDUCATIONAL LEARNING THROUGH CREATIVE IDEAS
Creativity can mean different things to different people – is it about coming up with new ideas or risk taking or problem solving? Or all of these? Is it only required in artistic subjects? We at Ideal Learning Education believe that creativity is the key to success no matter what subject is being taught. Thinking skills are essential in all careers and walks of life and these empower students to move forward and develop independence and confidence.
Ideal learning is predominately focussed around Design, and STEM education but we have worked in other subject areas to help design creative learning programmes also.
Learning how to be creative is not only for students, every school, every department and individual teacher needs to keep themselves energised to engage young people and be successful. We offer a consultancy service that ranges from full evaluation of your department to bespoke training courses to enhance your learning outcomes. We can also offer support and guidance in setting up and running external or internal educational events.
Design days are experiences where we come into your school to provide a learning opportunity for your students to enhance creativity in their learning. These are bespoke programmes and are designed with the school. Design days are centred around design and make activities and are an exciting way of connecting creative learning with real outcomes that inspire young people.
Manjinder’s deep understanding for design and engineering education is what made her consultancy work on the James Dyson Foundation’s engineering box so successful. She has a passion for encouraging children to problem solve and take risks. She is constantly challenging herself in order for her students to succeed.
We have worked with Ideal Learning’s Manjinder Sangha on projects at Walsall Academy and we have always found her work to be professional, knowledgeable and exciting. Both students and teachers have gained so much for working with Ideal Learning.
Ideal Learning have worked with us to evaluate our Robotics programmes on both the London Schools Excellence Fund in conjunction with Teach Design and Girls into STEM with National Grid. The approach to the work has been extremely professional and rigorous showing a good understanding of the content. Ideal Learning has worked really well to develop good working relationships with the students and teachers.
Manjinder has been a very effective contributor to the work of the institution. Whilst much of what we do for schools is provided for free, it still needs to be of a high quality if it is to make an impression on the education market place. Her experience, competence and creativity have proved invaluable in shaping our programmes and helping to make them as useful to our audience of teachers and students as possible.
